Video Clip Feedback
Thank you so much for all of your positive comments and feedback. (You really came through for us, and we greatly appreciate it.) I'm so glad you like our first video clip!
Since this was one of our first attempts at video taping, I'm pretty sure the next videos will show a bit more confidence and a bit less camera movement!
Also, I'll try to answer some of your questions over the next few days. (I can't promise an individual answer to each one of your questions - with so many subscribers, there is no way I can do that.)
But I can promise you this... I will personally read all your questions, and I will try to incorporate them into a future blog post or email.
Here's the first few answers... (You'll have to cut and paste the URL's into your web browser)
You can find baking strips by clicking HERE.
You can find flower nails by clicking HERE.
You can find heating cores (at the bottom of the page) by clicking HERE.
Heating Core: You can pour batter into it, making a little "cup cake" that fits perfectly into the whole left when you remove the core.
Flower Nail: When you turn the cake out of the pan, just remove the nail - only a small hole will remain - just fill with icing.
Will there be more videos in the new 2-volume set? Absolutely!
Will there be video clips with more detail work for our more experienced decorators? You bet!
I'll get back to you soon with more answers...
Thanks again!
Michael

i am having trouble looking for the favor you wanted me to see on page 48, I am lost. I cannot see anything at all.
I thought the video was good. The information shared was helpful, never would have thought of the flower nail part my self!! Thanks!
I found the baking strips at an arts & crafty store
Good Video. You should make one that shows how to make different types of flowers from buttercream icing (other than roses). If you do that, I will love you forever as I am always looking for tips on decorating with buttercream.
I enjoyed the video clip and think it is a brilliant idea. I look forward to eventually seeing many more video clips on cake decorating, so much easier than looking at a 'still' picture.
Hi There!!
Your video came across just fine.

I am very excited about the new videos! It looks great! I'm at work and opened your "one day left!" email, and cannot seem to stay off the site now and get any work done. Lots of information and very helpful. I may lose my job over this, but I'll make a great cake lady one day! :)
